Circ turns 1

I can't believe it has been a year since we started this thing.  I didn't know if anyone would like it or not, but we've gotten rave reviews for the comics that we've actually uploaded.  I guess if you were to do the math that we've done a comic a month, hey that isn't such a bad idea, it would complement both Shane and my laziness.  We may just continue to do that even though in less than a month we'll be on to different things.  I am hoping we do a "Circ turns 1" comic by Friday and that I'll have it uploaded by Saturday (our first birthday).  I hope that you have enjoyed our wacky comic, and even though I wish there were more of them I am glad for the ones we did publish.

saturday softball

A new week is here and therefore it's time for another fun update to Circ. No I'm sorry there are still no new comics yet, Shane is feeling drained and so there might not be any for a while, sorry about that.

Anyway to the point of this post and that is softball. This past Saturday Raymond, Ant and I went to Challenger Seven Memorial Park to play softball with fellow co-workers. It was the first annual Students vs. Librarians Softball Extravaganza. It was extremely hot and the field was unlevel but we had fun regardless. We had to stop the game in the fifth inning due to an injury, thankfully the person is okay. Final score was Students 14, Librarians 4 (I think, there have been conflicting scores). I hope that we get to do that again, I fear however that I might be working someplace else on campus but I think I may be able to play still. That's all for now, until next week be good or be good at it.

all-star game

It's time for my weekly update to this thing, just in case anybody reads this anymore because I sure as hell know nobody except me writes in this thing. I wonder why we even have this section to begin with. Anyway on to the subject which is the All-Star game, I wish Clemens would have done better in the first, but you can't fault him for being human, even though in typical Astros fashion Kent errored and that lead to 3 more runs. Final score was 9-4 AL that wasn't even a close contest, but oh well. I just hope the Astros do something significant the second half of the season. That's all for now, if you're still reading I'll write again next week.

independence

Yesterday the United States of America celebrated its 228th birthday, and what a better way to celebrate the independence of our country than to blow up a small piece of it. It was a fun day, well not the beginning but certainly the end, the fireworks were cool (I wish I had my camera, the view was amazing) and we (Shane, Rachel, Francois, Mr. Clark (Rachel's dad) and I) went to Baskin Robbins afterwards (mmm ice cream). On the Circ front we are thinking about more ideas for the comic and hopefully Shane will write some soon. That's it for me, I have a lot of cleaning to catch up on.

P.S. Congrats to Shane on finally becoming a college graduate!
