Here we are, another Thanksgiving, and I could not be any happier, sure this year has been rough but there are some things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for my family, friends, my job, etc etc etc. The list goes on and on but there is a full day ahead of me. We at CircComics wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and hope that you spend the day with loved ones and eat lots of turkey. For those of you who live in the UK or Canada or really anyplace else that doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, then just have a really good day.

Yes it is true, there is indeed a new comic online, it's a one panel but it's funny nonetheless. We have a four panel comic that we are working on and should be up by the end of the month hopefully. That's right kids, three comics in one month, that will truly be amazing! Anyway, we (Anthony, Raymond, Donovan and I) are going to go to our friend Sarah's party who we haven't seen in quite a long time, we're looking forward to it. Just wanted to let you all know that we are working on a quick one panel comic for our next issue. After that we will be introducing our newest staff member in his own issue. Look out for that. I'm hoping to get a staff meeting in to discuss features and the future of the site. Some stuff may or may not change. But one thing I can say for sure is that we will be making a flyer to post all over campus so look out for it. Until then, here are some links.

Fun with fire

The library was on fire earlier...okay not really, but the fire alarm did go off, turns out it was due to a dusty smoke detector. It was a lot of fun getting people out of the library . Not much to write about, new comic should be up next week, just a one panel comic, but funny nonetheless. I am looking into cell phones, even though I won't be able to get another one until my plan runs out in April, I want a flip phone with a camera, that'll be cool. The weekend was awesome, would have been better if the Coogs have won their Homecoming game, but oh well. The get-together at Rob's place Saturday night was cool, Shane was completely out of it as was to be expected, I'm sorry I didn't take more pictures. I also had fun watching football over Rob's as well, I think I am going to continue to do that every Sunday, especially now that I have found directions to his house on Yahoo! Maps. Anyway I have to finish cleaning and then pick up my sister from school.

A Year in Review..............I've Been Waiting for This For a Long Time

Just to let everyone know, this post will be "simulcast" on both Circ and my Live Journal. Along with that, this post will also be my last submission for Behind the Story on, the temporarily defunct, STLE. Now, with all that aside, let's get going.
In a few hours, the (bullshight) charge against me will be dismissed and my record will be cleaned and sealed. It sounds simple, but let me assure you it most definitely is not. In order to be able to achieve this, I had to endure a wrongly sentenced probation in which many of my basic freedoms were taken away and cost me a few thousand dollars, many nights of sleep, and (most sadly) a year of my life.
I admit that I wouldn't have been able to get through this alone. I have gotten a lot of support through the large network of people that I am happy to call my friends. It is because of this that I wish to thank the following people for their tremendous support.
Lesley: I know that I haven't known you that long, but you have always had an open ear and were always willing to listen to whatever I had to say about anything. For that, I thank you.
Jason: I know that you and I are not on speaking terms and that you and I no longer really consider each other friends, but I will put that aside for a while. You helped me revive my love for music. Something that hadn't been in my life for a very long time. It helped get me through this ordeal in a way that no one can really understand. For that...I thank you. We should really talk some day.
Francois: Yeah dude, you're in this one. I remember that we had barely met when all this went down. When I came back to Anime no Kai, you asked me what was wrong and you had a very open ear about what was going on. Thank you very much for that.
Justin: My band mate and, more importantly, my friend. Thank you for being there for me this short time ago. Let's make some bad ass music and rock the world.
The Circ Gang: Thanks for being there at my lowest and helping me pull myself up. All you guys rock ass and I love each and everyone of you.
Jin Wicked: I know that we haven't know each other for very long but being able to talk to you has been a rock for me that no one will ever really understand. Thank you for calling me your friend and for letting me call you mine. (Note to everyone: Show her some love and check out her site. She's a really talented artist with many beautiful pieces for sale. Check it out and empty your wallets.)
Nick: You didn't meet me until my probation had already started but you were there for me when I was in tears and needed someone to listen to me. For that I give you my eternal gratitude and much love. Now do me a favor and DO THE MARIO!!!! Just kidding dude. Thank you so much for being there.
Larry and Kerri: I know things got kind of weird at first. But you saw what was really going on and I thank you for being there in my corner when I needed it the most.
Bastion: I know that we haven't known each other that long, not even a year, but I do have to say that you are a bad ass friend. For that....I do thank you.
Darrin: What can I say? You f***ing rock dude. Thanks for being there for me. The Lead Harpy gives much gratitude and love to the Almighty Prince of Houston for everything that he has done for him.....very very good form.
Jack: I know that we have a little shit between us right now, but that's not that important. All I know right now is that you talked to me all that time and helped me get my head straight. You even offered to come down here and be here for me. What more could I ask for a friend? Thank you very much for that.
Metallica and Kim Petersen (aka King Diamond): Even though you all do not know me I still feel the need to thank you all for your music. It was one of the things that got me through this ordeal. Thanks again. I am a fan for live.
Mr. Proctor (My Attorney): Thanks for helping stay out of jail and for being a damn good attorney.
Josephine (My Probation Officer): You were a great P.O. Most P.O.'s are real assholes from what I have heard. You have proved them wrong. You understood what was really going on and you treated me like a person...not a criminal. Thank you.
Beth (My Boss): Thank you very much for allowing me to keep my job even though I flaked out a lot during this year. You understood where I came from and allowed me to deal with my stuff. Thank you very much for being on of the best bosses that I have ever had.
Heather: We haven't known each other long at all. But I can say that I consider you a damn good friend. Thank you for being one to me and for letting me be one to you. You definitely kick much much much ass.
Matt: Dude, you are just plain awesome. Us hanging out at the UC really helped to develop our friendship. And that friendship has meant a lot to me in this trying year. Dude....much thanks and much love.
Rob: Dude, what would I without you? I've said this before, but I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you. You were there for me in my lowest point in my life. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't have been there. For that I give you much thanks and much much much love. Thanks bro.
Glen: Bro, you are one of my best and longest friends. You have always been there for me; beit my high points or my low points. You are a rock to me that I can always count on. For that thank you and much love.
Jessica: I've only known you for about a year but you have become someone who has a special place in my heart. Someone who I can confide in and has been there for me. I hold you as someone who is very close and very dear to me. Thank you for everything.
Andy: Dude, you are probably the most loyal and best friend that I have ever had in my life. No matter how hard, crazy, and low things get, I have always been able to count on you. I just hope that one day I will be able to be there in 15 minutes for you. I love you man.
(Last, but Never Ever Least) Mom: Thank you for everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Thank you for being the person that was most there for me ever for anything. Thank you for loving me for whoever that I am. Thank you for helping me out in everything that I ever needed; especially in the past year. I love you very much. That's all I can really say.
If there is anyone that I forgot....please accept my apologize. But remember that I love each and every one of you.
This year has changed me....for the better I think. All I can do is look towards the future. As I sit down here waiting for the hours to tick away to the time of my freedom, I will be thinking about the previous year and looking towards the future. So, in the meantime, I will leave you with these words.............

Guess what? The new comic is online!!!! Oh joy of joys he finally did it people will say. I told you it will be up within the week and I kept my word, now we just have to keep a semi-regular schedule. In about an hour or so I will be in my car on the way to Brasil to meet up with Shane, Heather, Rob, Matt, etc to celebrate the end. I was brainwa....errrrr..... I mean chatting with Chris and the Circ Comics gang the other day about web comics and stuff like that, and they asked me to maybe contribute something as a guest to their site. Being the narcissist that I am, I couldn't pass up the chance to read more of my own writing, and to force you to do the same. So hear comes my craptastic contribution to CircComics! Enjoy.

RUMOR MILL
Chris: Ring Lead of the Circ Comics Gang that he is. Chris was spotted sitting in the loading dock of the UH library on Saturday afternoon upset. When quizzed over the reasoning for his dispair, he said nothing. After much investigation (sittting in a chair and doing nothing) it was revealed that Chris was just overly in shock because Shane actually showed up on time for once.
Shane: I heard a rumor about this guy as well, but considering it came from a ignorant, crusty white man who likes to wrestle and dress up like beef jerky, I kinda find it hard to believe, so I am not going to add it into here. Shane will be a free man as of midnight, and we are all proud of him. At least you didn't take th double or nothing on that one dude.
Donovan: YOU ARE STILL MY HERO.
Anthony & Raymond: I always get these two guys confused. One is 6' 90" and is larger than I could ever dream of being. The other is smaller than Matt. That's small folks!
Virginia: I keep seeing her with this guy I know. I met him back in March. He is kinda of a quiet spoken guy.... Bastion (if I spelled it wrong, then I spelled it wrong). Oh yeah, so what the hell is going on here? I thought she was... oh nevermind.
Rob: My life as of late has come straight from fiction, and is much stranger. I was trying to get Shane into bed with me for some hott gay anal action, but it just didn't pan. I seemingly am now being pimped out by this strange girl that said something about, "I need some extra cash, so you now my bitch, ho!" I do not fight back, and I cannot resist. I only have to give her 45% of my income on Tricks. It is very nice.
Heather: Is getting the other 55% of my income. I can't complain!
Abrahm: You are just too damn far away dude, and are gonna miss the party this weekend. I will have a spot saved for you anyway man, just don't confuse the conditionaire and the #$&#%.
William "God Damn" Mercer: HE HE HE HE..... You are all in for a treat soon. Even I send my apologies for this one. All I am gonna say is , "Boy , shut the fuck up!"

Yes I know there isn't a new comic up yet, mostly due to my own laziness but also due to me not knowing how to do this one thing in Photoshop. I've been going through a rough spot the past couple of days, Saturday was the worst, I had a breakdown. I'm not going to go into specifics, but Shane had to calm me down...yeah I'm just as surprised as you are (j/k). Shane has always been one of those people I could count on when something is going on, and I am thankful to have a friend like him. I promise the new comic will be up within the next week, and then hopefully we'll be on a regular schedule, or as close to a regular schedule as we can get.
