The end of summer
Friday, August 22, 2003
4:15:00 PM - Anonymous

Monday begins the first day of school for us at Circ, which also means we are going to be f*cking busy, somebody help us! Nah we'll be fine, we've gone through it plenty of times before. Anyway we are finally going to start shooting the first comic, yeah I know you've heard it all before, but it's true this time I promise! This week has been an absolute drag, the network was down on Wednesday and Thursday, today the internet is acting up, we just can't win! Abrahm went to go visit family so he got spared all our hardaches and bitching. School year is going to be weird, especially now since I am not taking classes, but with the Saturday crew all coming back it's going to be a lot of fun.

Laziness sets in
Friday, August 15, 2003

Right now we are in-between semesters and that means for us Circ workers we become very lazy because nothing is going on, which I really don't mind, I actually encourage it! That also meant that I have become very lazy myself with everything (except driving, next week I get to drive by myself, wish me luck). In that effect I haven't been doing much with designing the website and all, but I promise to start working on it over the weekend. I also hope that we can complete our first comic before school begins on the 25th.

Driving
Friday, August 08, 2003

First off I'd like to remind everyone that tomorrow is the big day for our first comic, I'm so excited, I hope everything goes well.

Now to the real thing I wanted to post about...driving. You see I am now a car owner thanks to my mom buying a brand new SUV for herself. I am getting use to driving again (got my license in 1998 and have been driving on and off, like every few months). The last time I really drove was back in January, that was when I visited my now ex-girlfriend. I wasn't that bad but I wasn't that good either, that and I was in Brazoria on the farm roads (read: narrow lanes and no lights). I can't wait to tell her I have a car, she'll be really surprised! Anyway this morning was the true test: 7am traffic. I did pretty okay, need to practice on relaxing some and watching the lanes, turns were alright but I need to really practice, and now that I have a car I can do just that. I am waiting for my insurance from Geico to go through and then I'll be a fully covered driver. I just have to become more confident which will come with time, and a lot of patience from my aunt.

Still Working on Everything
Wednesday, August 06, 2003
10:35:00 PM - Shane

Everything is slowly but surely coming together. We are busting our asses to get the home of Circ up and running. As a matter of fact, we are going to be shooting our first comic on Saturday. I have a final that day, but we gotta do what we gotta do in order to make sure that our loyal readers (who at the moment only consist of the staff of site) have some real content. Make sure to give props to our webmaster, Chris, as he toils day and night in order to bring you the best in webcomics. Actually, I wouldn't say the best, but its a webcomic nonetheless. I still have a final to study for and im still recovering from the Metallica concert. You can read a gig report on my feature "Behind the Story" on STLE pretty soon. Anyway, gotta go. I have to get off my lazy ass and start studying.

As you can see this page is looking better and better all the time, I am slowly but surely figuring out where things go and what to do. I love doing this, it forces me to think, which I haven't really had to do since graduating. I am hoping to learn some Flash/Java/XML to make things even better, for now this will have to do. At least the forum is up and running, it took a while for me to figure out what I was doing but it's looking pretty good. If you're reading this and have any ideas make sure you click the link at the bottom right and share with us. Is anybody still reading after all that?
