state of the circ address

Here's the thing, for now I am trying to work on Circ, it's not exactly going as planned, and now that school has begun things are a lot worse with me doing things. I will try my hardest to get something working, but please bear with me, it might take some more time.

circ lives on
Sunday, July 17, 2005
8:29:00 PM - Anonymous

Raymond had an idea for a comic and we all agreed to keep Circ running, so I am going to renew the domain for another year, maybe this time we'll get something done. I am actually going to try and get the new format up before the end of the year, we'll see what happens with that. Anyway that was just a quick update from me, the webpage might be down for some time next weekend as things are changing, but don't despair, it'll only be temporary (I hope). Until next time, adios.

new month, old problems
Saturday, July 09, 2005
9:49:00 AM - Anonymous

There isn't much going on, July has come and we here at Circ are at a crossroads, whether or not we should renew the domain. It expires on the 25th, and even though we don't have a recent comic (working on that actually), we have files and stuff that we want to keep on the server. Anyway I'll let you know what the final decision is (all two of you). I hope everyone had a happy Independence Day, and I hope you have a good rest of July.

does anybody ever read this anymore?
Friday, June 17, 2005
10:54:00 AM - Anonymous

I'm not so sure why I still write on here, the site is effectively dead, except for Donovan's Apostle of why I am very happy he simulcasts it on here for all of you to read. I guess it's because I love the premise that we started this site on, a photo comic about working in the library, it was a great idea. Anyway I just hope that everyone who had a part in making CircComics happen contribute to it from time to time, even if it is just writing a little something in the blog, or maybe even making the occasional comic. Enough writing for now, I better try and find something productive to do.

Unshelved
Saturday, June 04, 2005
12:04:00 PM - Anonymous

I figure since Shane is too busy not writing comics (read: being a teaching assistant at UH Clear Lake) that I'll share with you a comic that I have just recently found. It's called Unshelved, and let me tell you most of the comics are identical to situations we have in the library. For now Circ is on hiatus, but visit the Unshelved website at http://www.unshelved.com to get your library comic fix.

annual softball game
Monday, May 16, 2005
3:06:00 PM - Anonymous

This coming Saturday the library will be having it's second students vs. librarians softball game. I can't wait, this will kick off the new softball season in which I play this game, then in Andy's league from June until August. I believe my knees are well rested for it, and that my joints are fully healed from last year. The only thing I am worried about is my mechanics, need to get back into the swing of things as they say. Anyway I hope I do well this year, last year I believe I was 2-3. Good luck to both teams, may the best one win!

another week closes
Friday, April 22, 2005
10:57:00 AM - Anonymous

It's Friday, so it's time for my weekly update here on Circ. Nothing new is going on, update over heh. The week just sorta flew by, which is what I love around this time of year with finals just around the corner. Hopefully the next 3 weeks will just fly by as well. Anyway time to go to the front desk, Chris out.

rambling thoughts
Friday, April 15, 2005
3:54:00 PM - Anonymous

I was walking through the library earlier today to drop off the supply list and as I was walking I saw a lot of co-workers, some I work with, some I see in passing. They all said hi to me in some way or form as I passed them, and that made me smile. It was a good feeling to know that people know you and smile and say hi when they see you. Today has truly been a good day, and now I must work the front desk for the last hour and a half that I have to work.

sickness
Thursday, April 07, 2005
3:18:00 PM - Anonymous

We take our health for granted, I know I do at least. I get sick at least twice a year, once if I am truly lucky. Everytime I get sick I remember how it is to be healthy and not having to cough or sneeze or have a stuffed nose (that's the worst). Usually it goes away after 2-3 days of OJ and NyQuil, but those 2-3 days are hell on earth. Right now I am at the tail end of this year's sickness, hoping and praying that I don't get worse or get sick again later on in the year. I just hope to get better soon, and also try to remember not to take my health for granted.

getting older
Wednesday, March 16, 2005
12:36:00 AM - Anonymous

I turned 25 last week, this week I am on vacation. Okay so theoretically today is my last day of vacation, it sure did go fast. I was doing some thinking and some things are going to have to change, so I think this summer I am going to be reinventing myself, there are going to be major changes. I hope to actually carry out the changes too, we'll see what happens. I have had a fun vacation hanging out at Rob's, not having to worry about things at home or at work, I go back to that fun tomorrow night. Anyway just wanted to update, not much else going on.

P.S. The Rockets have won five in a row, woohoo!

it's been a while
Saturday, February 12, 2005
3:01:00 PM - Anonymous

There have been some changes around Circ, there is a new forum: http://www.circcomics.com/phpBB2/index.php, and a new photo gallery: http://www.circcomics.com/gallery.

Other than that things have been crazy, a lot of things have been going on, I won't discuss here but things are kinda hectic. Anyway just wanted to update about the new things on Circ, maybe I'll update again soon, or maybe not again for another 3 months.

i'm done for now
Monday, November 15, 2004
9:30:00 PM - Anonymous

I want to thank Donovan for writing on the front page of Circ, I've always maintained that we will keep doing comics, but I think for now I'm going to call it quits. Things have just been going downward and I don't even want to think about doing anything besides work (which I have to do regardless). Take care all, I don't know when I'll write or do anything for Circ again, but I will at least finish the thumbnails for the photo gallery.
